I had in Isaaan a friend who did it for me. But long ago.

It all depends on what your needs are....go to AIS website and see what current promotions are available....many options....way too many to list here

This would still work at the many self-service machines (most are orange colored, English language menu).

But with a fee of 3 Baht.

At AIS service centers there are self-service machines where you can top-up 20 Baht a time and get another month of credit validity. Can be repeated to max 12 month validity.

Yes I can be extended, my Missus took my phone

to a small phone shop, the process seemed to

take a long time, the trick is to put the simcard

in a Thai persons name. Hey presto, I come back

to Thailand after 9 months and the phone works.

I got this SMS from AIS yesterday. I don't need it so haven't actually tried it.
