How can a health minister, who himself has proven to be outrageously incompetent in handling the Corona crisis, who himself gave wrong advises to the public, who himself does not wear a mask on many pictures in the media, still be kept in office despite his unprofessional behavior ??

 

This man has once again proven to be unfit for office, 1. not competent at all, and 2. bad behavior in public. Insulting all foreigners when he has a private issue with one farang who made him -rightfully- loose face, while he was celebrating himself in the media? What an accomplishment to hold an unpacked face mask in his dirty and sweaty hand and expecting a farang who probably knows something about hygiene to wear that mask in his face??? Disgusting.

Is he a man ? Can he not take criticism and admit mistakes ? Does he know what the letters of WHO mean? Does he ever heard about their -competent- recommendation to Corona?

 

In this Thai government any kind of accountability is missing. Get rid of this idiot now! Employ instead a specialist, who doesn't celebrate himself in the media, but instead knows something about public health, there are many farangs, who actually know what to do, while that little man does only know how to pose for a photo in the media.

 

On top of that he wrote (on his facebook)  that said farang was a European but he didn't know from which country..i wonder how he knows that.

Wrong! His family own Sino Thai construction. Its not hard to see where his wealth comes from. At least he has a legitimate reason to be wealthy unlike many of the others with mysterious wealth with no clear method of acquiring it. Sure he is not straight but on the Thai scale of crookedness he is not THAT high up... his competence as health minister however...... and others in the Bhumjumthai party are another matter..............

I am not sure how accurate your statement really is. Any talk from a government minister in my rural area is not what comes out of a dog's whistling mouth so much as what comes out of the other end. They feel most of what comes out of minister's mouths is good for the rice fields.

That advice has been superceeded by the WHO. It's now "No need to wear a mask if you aren't unwell".

If that is the case ; why Chinese government buying millions of masks today.

Also this Health Minister is not referring us, only farangs recently arrived to the airport.
