Naew Na reported that a fifth person has been arrested for posting bad intentions on Facebook after the deadly Korat shootings at the weekend.

He was also found to be a convicted and current drug user.

Twenty three year old called Wansa Yap went online to suggest he was going to attack the government. He was dressed in army fatigues and had downloaded a picture of a war weapon to complete his post.

Region 5 police monitoring activity on the internet soon contacted counterparts in Bo Phut, Koh Samui where the suspect was found in rented accommodation in Soi Isaan Pattana.

The suspect, from Nakhon Sri Thammarat, said he wasn't really going to do anything. After posting he had received plenty of comments, mostly negative so he decided to take down his post. Unfortunately someone did a screen capture and the authorities were informed.

He was found to have a previous drug offence.

He tested positive for Class 1 and Class 5 drugs and was charged with taking meth and ganja and also charged under the computer crimes' act.
