Ok this is going to help - start at the airport - hail a cab (ok beat them off with a stick) - tell the cab driver to take you to town - anywhere will do. Find a bar, sit down, and order a drink. Look left and right - you are now in the middle of the sex tourist trade. CB

April 5, 200718 yr If you wait until next weekend, I'll give you a personal guided tour. I heard rumours about these "sex-pats" some time ago, and did an intensive investigation of my own. I can introduce you to a variety of people (Thai and farang, bg's/bb's, owners/managers and customers) involved so you can get the whole story, without a biased, one-sided slant to it. But then again, you could probably get the same information right where you live. Check out some of the Thai karaokes and brothels that most likely are in your neck of the woods. From what I've read and heard, the majority of the sex-trade is domestically related (i.e. there are more Thai men out shopping for sex than there are foreigners). Note I said foreigners, not farangs. While you are at it, check out some of the Japanese-Only and other Asian brothels. I'm sure you could find plenty of sex-pats without having to travel to Pattaya. Oh, but many of those sex-pats wouldn't be white, would they ? Therefore it wouldn't be as good of a story then if it sounded like only white people were sex-pats. Any ways. Let me know. I won't be back in Patters for another few days yet, then my schedule is pretty well open.
