I just hire a decent architect and buy a piece of land not in a ghetto where i don't stare at neighbours. Problem solved. 

 

If you buy cheap, you buy twice, just stop being a cheapass if you want decent quality.

Are you building a 20 millions house ? And even at this price construction will look cheap and be of bad quality.
