If it's in aerosol or droplets the droplet must dry out first. One thing that works for sure is UV light and Thailand does have plenty of sun. Except for the BKK mall vampires that are pretty much in optimal condition to get infected.

It's already been 35 and 36 in my part of Bangkok for the highs the past two weeks or so. I guess the virus is waiting for the temperature to get to 37 or maybe 38 before it decides to migrate north for the summer???

My physician has told me that they are just now rolling out the vaccine for the new flu season and told me to get my shot in March or April for when the peak hits, when rainy season hits. I guess the same principle is at work. When it rains people tend to group up indoors rather than outside.

This is a bioweapon. Its a chimeric virus, not seen in nature. The flu is the delivery system, got it?  This has a R-naught of 6.7 and higher. The real dastardly thing about this Covid19 is that the infected is shedding virus -- all the while being asymptomatic. About Day 11-12, the patient feels better. Then the neurologic bomb that has been growing detonates: serious hacking cough followed by blood filling the lungs. This bioweapon also infects the brain which instruct the diaphragm to cease functioning. Patient suffocates on his own blood and is extremely contagious: all blood products, stool, sweat, etc. There is no known cure at this time.
