Koi?

Featured Replies

Okay.  Maybe a silly post, but have been trying to find someone in Chiang Mai on my own and failed.  We have about 30 koi - all sizes and colors - that we need to sell since we are moving to a house without a pond.  Anyone know anyone that buys koi?  Other than a pet store.

you might want to include price, since you are competing with Koi shops and I assume must beat their prices and a location would be nice, unless you are delivering.

I was looking for someone to come tell us what they are worth.

They are worth as much as it costs someone to come get them, transport them and take a chance that your's will not infect theirs

I think you need to advertise them as free to a good home, unless you bought them as real pedigree expensive fish when you first got them.

Most of the average pet garden pond koi here are worthless as they don't have the perfect markings or colour patterns that collectors pay big money for.

The shops won't buy them,If your very lucky you might find a buyer,

the last lot I got, was from someone like yourself trying to get rid

of them, they were free but had to catch and collect, that was a few

years ago, they are now huge,  good luck.

regards Worgeordie

Real helpful thanks.

Truth is not to your liking I guess.  If you don't like the answers you get in a public forum , don't ask a question

I don't mind helpful replies, but of course should expect the usual forum replies I suppose.
