Going viral: Liverpool fan pays homage to his club with crest in his rice paddy

A lifelong fan of English premier league club Liverpool has paid homage to the team he loves in an unusual way.

Chaliaw Manthong, 46, has created an image of the club's famous crest by using different varieties of rice.

The result is very clear, especially from the air, and is being shared by fans of the club worldwide after it was posted on a fan page.

Chaliaw said he drew the crest on a template then his workers planted the rice after the design was roped off in one of his paddies at the NBB Farm in Petchabun, north east Thailand.

He said he has been a fan of the club for 30 years.

Liverpool are running away with the EPL title though they were humbled by Watford 3-0 at the weekend, their first league loss in well over 400 days.
