Looking For Scooter With Sidecar.

Featured Replies

I am looking for the complete package. Honda/Yamaha/whatever model needs to be at least 125cc. I live in Rai Wai, and I have 2 bulldogs that absolutely love to ride around the island, but I have been renting one, and it is near breaking down. Anyone know anybody selling one?

Also, I would like a larger scooter. I have seen a few larger size bikes like Silverwings and such. Anyone know where to buy these new/used?

Thanks in Advance

I've never seen one for sale. Technically they are illegal as I understand it, which would complicate the ownership transfer.

If you want one buy a good used Honda dream and have one built.

There are many welders around who can build you one fairly cheaply depending on the materials used and level of craftsmanship desired. I've seen some farangs riding some really nice ones. And I've seen many made out of re-bar that look unsafe at any speed.

There are some really good craftsmen around.

When you go from Chalong circle the Chaofa Road straigt to CENTRAL there's after a couple of meters onthe left side a motorbike shop/garage.

I think they do custom-build these kind of side cars.

Usualy there are lot of bikes outside, so not difficult to find I hope.

I see many farang customers as well, may be a good sign.

Have a good ride!

i have had on built buy them, good service and cheap

as a guide - rebar 3700 or 4000 with lights

alloy tubing - 7500

Also on the road from Rawai to Chalong you will find some places selling them, as you will in Chalong.
