Borders

Featured Replies

There have been no announcements of border closures between Thailand and Cambodia. That said, the situation is unclear for some nationalities trying to cross. Also, officially anyone crossing must submit to a 14-day quarantine. I assume for those returning to Thailand this is waived, but have seen to confirmation.

Check here Cambodias requirements. https://www.iatatravelcentre.com/international-travel-document-news/1580226297.htm

"CAMBODIA – published 17.03.2020
1. Passengers arriving from France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Spain or USA are not allowed to enter Cambodia.
- This does not apply to nationals and residents of Cambodia.
2. Nationals and residents of Cambodia who have been in France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Spain or USA in the past 14 days will be quarantined for 14 days."

Was supposed to be flying to PP next month, I've just panic bought tickets to SR this weekend.

Hoping I'll be able to enter (Brit) and return before any more bans hit the borders.

On the pro side flights to SR (CNX-DMK-REP) were dirt cheap, cheaper than I've ever seen 1,600bht x2.

On the con side my flights to PP were normal price and I've binned them 3,000bht x2.

Managed to cancel my hotel in PP (saving 4,000bht), booked a hotel in SR (1,600bht) ...

so not that big a financial loss overall.
