Most of the bars in Pattaya are still open. I'm watching Pattaya Street Cruiser Youtube channel live right now and he's drinking in all the bars right now.

Nope, because the money which goes up the chain must be satisfied, without fail.  The brown envelopes will still be required from those who provide them.

Same same here in Korea.

There'll always be the 'brown envelopes' only the size differs...

I swear this government just watch the international news in the evening, and then copy what they thought they saw, with very little logic. Where are all of the bar girls and staff going now? Home to stay with their elderly parents!!! Very wise ????

I know many bar girls in Pattaya. Non of them have elderly parents.

I'd be shocked if I used your math too. BS. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/

China 80,000 total cases. Total deaths 3237. Population of china ~1.4 Billion.

Try dividing 3237 into 1,400,000,000 and that's your chance of dying of CV. Winning the lottery has higher odds.

Why not try Italian statistics ...

60.000.000 / 2503 deaths . Your nr will prob be beaten by quite a large amount . Also , in China the situation is under control ( barely new cases ) while in Italy its still expanding . And according to new nrs , Spain is gonna beat Italy in the statistics .

How do you know that ? They do the same thing in Norway right now, its not fun at all, but if we can get rid of the virus , we can get back to normal sooner.

Best Happy Hour in town...7-11!!! 7 gonna see a massive wave of new "customers". Already the best deal...and NO barfines!!! ????

And the most likely place to pick up the virus from a tourist who just left it on the counter, on products they touched, on the money you receive in change.

Use your brain man, 7-11 is the one place that is visited by more people than a bar, a massage parlor, or a cinema.

Should have been the first businesses ordered closed IMO

Peace.

Lets face it. This virus has come to stay and the situation will only be worse in 2 weeks time.

No chance things will be back to normal anytime soon.

Oh ok - so you have consulted with Madam Ruth - the gypsy with the gold capped tooth and her crystal ball ?? Good of you to be so optimistic >> well done :-(

The math's is very easy to do--Population * 80% infection rate (China expectation) * 1% (China mortality rate across all age groups) I will have to add age adds to the mortality percentage with those over 70 the figure is anywhere from 6-14% (China figures)

The answer will shock you.

BS - 2 years ?? You can't lock down the planet for much longer. Life and business must go on 'the show must go on' Irrespective.

These sort of calculations don't take account of people who would have died anyway in a normal year. 10,000 people die every week in Italy and no one bats an eyelid.

Agreed.

According to the World Mortality 2017 report published by the United Nations, the number of deaths in 2015 was 56.567 million. This means that an average of 155,224 human deaths occur each day.

https://www.reference.com/world-view/many-people-die-day-world-b5a2258c374cba57

We've had a whopping 9,000 deaths in 3 months.  This is ludicrous.

But in fact it will be the last one to close, because you know who owns it.

What about this pandemic don’t you get ???!!!!!!!

dont travel somewhere else to satiate your obsession with drinking and bar girls.

LISTEN !!!! to the WHO health experts and stay home, limit travel outside of your home to an absolute minimum, limit contact with people to a minimum, observe the 2 metre distance rule when in contact.

if you have come into contact with anyone who showed flu or influenza-like symptoms call your local hospital and isolate yourself.

What a government does or not do does not absolve individuals of the responsibility to themselves and those around them to acting carefully and responsibly about something that, if it doesn’t kill you will kill others if you’re a carrier and don’t act responsibly.
