frank require work permit, as does krungsri for the same insurance company as frank, so i have been here  6+months on a married yearly extension, who will cover me for the 100,000thb coverage

    Here's an idea. Could you sign up to 10 of these packages that offer 100,000 baht in medical expenses for about 500 baht? It would cost about 5000 baht and give you 1 million baht medical cover.

Actually, on the website they do now say they require it. It wasn't required when I signed up though.

agreed and I have a cut and paste from their help staff without it on there as a requirement. 

I was going to say it was a different underwriter but no I think its the same actual policy.. Good old Thai comms !! 

All of this assumes claims will be honored. Don't people realize insurance companies have entire departments dedicated to finding technicalities so claims can be rejected?
