Thailand should go its own way

Close physical contact/distance spreads all viruses from person to person - that is how seasonal flus work - but this one is more contagious and no one has immunities.

Hot weather/sun slows the lifetime of any viruses left on surfaces - that is why there are always more flus in winter than in summer in those countries where there is a real difference between the two.  But it doesnt matter whether it is hot or cold if people are close to infected people and/or making contact with them and/or touching things they have touched recently.

As they first found during the spanish flu, patients who were outside in fresh air and sunshine recovered at a better rate than those inside the wards - they were outside because the hospitals were full.

Leave Thailand while you can!

The history of viruses that disappear in warmer weather is that they return fiercer in the next winter.
