My French is a bit worn out :whistling:

But have they really managed to charter and negotiate Qatar Airways down to 450 Euro?

Wow, that's cheap.

Yes, not bad.And you do not have to pay upfront. Just sign a letter that  you will pay to treasury once in France.

Whats special about it?

Specially low price. The economy fare for 3 April is quoted as THB 55,530 (about EUR 1,552.00)

517x450=232,650. With the cut in flight routes and reduced frequency on the remaining routes, Qatar has a lot of empty planes and many crew members off duty twiddling their thumbs. EUR 232,650 is better than nothing in this situation.

The flight being discussed is a rescue flight chartered by the French government, not a regular scheduled flight.
