Something sinister about this virus?

Featured Replies

since this is my first post to Thaivisa,i would say hello and i am happy i could join you all,so thanks for being accepted as a new member(Had to go trough some loops with that picture stuff, and i struggled for a bit)Hehe

There seems to me that that when it comes to this virus, its always some new symptom/s?

Some Have non,others have dry cough/stomach pain/diareha/headache/muscle pain/eye problems/organ failure/severe lung Pneumonia

All sorts of symptoms?

And i have read several places already that some get infected for the second time even after they supposedly get well?

I have also read that some experts suggests that the virus has laid dormant for a while in the cells and been reactivated?

So there is no new infection from outside but rather the virus never left the body after the person was declared well?

When i read that i got a little scared, because that sounded a lot like a virus we have all heard of before, initial infection and then silence for an unknown period of time?

What is the "virus we have all heard of before" you are referring to?

Much of the effect on a human's body during a virus infection is due to the immune system's response to the virus. The Fevers, the aches and pains, all triggered by a person's immune response. Every person has a different response in the same way that some people are allergic to certain things and some are not.

Is that all ?

suggestion, don’t read so much and/or be more discerning of your material...

Making comparisons between HIV and Covid 19 is unhelpful. HIV is not a coronavirus, it enters its host in a different manner (as we all know) and behaves differently.

There have been a few purported cases of patients being reinfected with Covid 19, but the medical view seems to be that the infection had not been cleared up in the first place.

O/P I suggest that you stop worrying about what may lay ahead in the far future and concentrate, instead on making sure you protect your health in the here and now.

Oh BTW, welcome to the forum.

I have not read this anywhere so at best its just my own imagination, and it was not an conclusion at all, just merely with question marks.
