BB Gun

Featured Replies

My friend went home just before all this virus stuff happened,he gave me a BB/Airsoft pistol,is it legal for me to keep it?

I am a British passport holder.

Thanks in advance.

Airsoft guns are legal in Thailand. They are sold in shops throughout Thailand and online (Lazada etc) and no licence is required to own one as they aren't real firearms.
Just for clarity, by 'airsoft' this means a toy that shoots 6mm plastic pellets, whether by spring, electric or gas power.

It may be legal to own one but obviously be careful of usage and do not carry outside your home....it could be deemed an offensive weapon

Its not legal to use metal pellets and not legal to shot at dogs.. a kids "cap gun" ( just a loud bang) makes them  stop barking and run away.
