It’s important to note that once the visa amnesty is lifted, Immigration will NOT give you an emergency #COVID19 extension if there’re still flights to your country. This week, KLM, Lufthansa & Eva Air are still flying to Europe with empty seats. You can also fly Korean & Qatar.

 

If you are down south, you can still fly with Nok Air to #Bangkok from say Surat Thani. There are speedboat transfers from the islands. There are also regular flights from Hat Yai & Nakhon Si Thammarat. If the lockdown is lifted in Phuket on 30 April, they will fly from there.

So all you Non Imm O multi holders, out you go for your border bounce...

Take the wife and kids though, cause you probably won't be getting back in again any time soon !!

Alternatively, use it as an excuse opportunity to dump all the baggage you accumulated while living in Thailand.

What makes you think the borders with Laos / Cambodia / Myanmar won't re-open after the Emergency Decree is lifted?  Most have very few Covid cases.

Maybe they will, doesn't mean Thailand will be letting tourists (Non Imm O) back in, at least not without testing, insurance and quarantine...

Well tourists won't have Non Immigrant O visas.  People with those "live" here, so something will be arranged.
