Popular Post webfact
Thai corruption: Village elder caught selling "Buriram Healthy" stickers for 20 baht a time Picture: Daily News Buriram governor Thatchakorn Hatthayayakoon flanked by provincial police chief Pol Maj-Gen Chanchai Pongphichitkun announced the arrest of a phu yai ban (local village chief) for selling Buriram Healthy stickers. The stickers have been introduced by the provincial Covid-19 authorities and should be affixed to Thai ID cards and passports. Everyone who is resident or domiciled in the north eastern Thai province over the age of 15 has to have one in order to conduct a relatively normal life. They are supposed to be free but Banchai Thiangtham, 59, in Nong Waeng sub-district was selling them for 20 baht a time. This had earlier led to complaints from the public and a visit from a provincial authority deputy and police team. Banchai has been charged under a disciplinary code while further investigations into the case proceed. Popular Post colinneil
Pathetic isnt it, some people will come up with a scam to cheat others, just to make money. Puu Yai Ban sick, they are elected by the villagers to help the village, not scam people out of money. 10 1
Popular Post OneeyedJohn
People who do this kind of thing just have no shame. He'll just shrug his shoulders and move on to the next scam. It is doubly bad when ordinary folk are struggling in this pandemic.
