Usually I like your posts as well informed. However, in this instance there is credible detailed refutation of your claims concerning the Covid virus and the Chinese scientists.

Got to say I’m surprised with your angry reply. Never said you said anything. I posted a fact-check link which refutes the claims made in the content you quoted, Not about you personally is it.. so no need whatsoever to shout.

Well, your post made it look pretty much like I had claimed those scientists had sent the covid virus to China, especially when you put "covid" and Chinese Scientists" in the same sentence and the link an article about how the coronavirus wasn't sent by "a spy from Canada", which I never claimed it was either.

Sorry total irresponsbility here!

If ya got proof then show it to the world NOW!

Again I feel sick to my stomach and disgusted. I've personally listened to at least half a dozen virology experts from across the planet (most I believe having NO associated with WHO by the way) - another one of Trump's 'demons') say without equivocation that this bug is way too elegant for any manmade input into its rising.

More of the same paranoid, predictable need to find someone to blame rather than accept that nature just happens and is beyond the delusional thinking that we can control it, and of course to feed habitual self serving via, the rally cry to defend the perverse god of Patriotism and defense of Flag and Country.

I think this might the beginning of him trying to get around the huge amounts of money they owe the Chinese!

Who are these scientists that think it was made in a lab? Please post links to such articles. There will always be one crackpot scientist that goes against conventional wisdom. Got to give cedit to the Chinese if they actually created a virus that completely resembles a naturally evolved one (there are tell-tale signs if a virus is created in the lav, and this one has none of those). Apat from that, it's bloody difficult to make a virus.

OP has been asked several times before to share the details / support for his claims. Never any reply, guess that means his claims have no merit / they are false.

The Covid reference was from the link I provided. I read the linked content as refuting the origin Of, social media, and the  false allegations against the Chinese scientists. On my mobile, haven’t reviewed the link so going from memory

I agree. Trump has lied so much in the past that all his credibility has vanished, if there ever was any.

I would not be surprised if next week Trump is claiming that the coronavirus came from Australia.

I think you have been kept in the dark to long

As for the Chinese scientists, there still hasn't been any word on what the "policy breach" (or breaches) were or why their security clearances were revoked. One article I previously linked mentioned that the Lab had actually gone in and replaced the scientists computers at night (i.e. so she wouldn't know it had been done) and it was sometime after that when the RCMP were contacted and began their investigation.
A couple weeks later the scientist and her students were escorted from the lab by the police and sometime after that their clearances were revoked. I'm guessing they all went back to China as no formal charges appear to have been laid against them.

I never paid much attention to the rumours that those scientists (or someone else) may have sent the coronavirus to China from Canada.
I did find it interesting though, how she (her husband and her students) were all removed from a Level 4 lab in Canada for (undisclosed) "Policy Breaches", and that she had also worked at the Level 4 lab in China.
Which apparently is not the model of "safety" that one might expect. Almost makes you wonder if they have "policy breaches" there as well.

It was in the news last summer about the lab in Canada sending samples of Ebola and Henipah (a fruit bat virus) to China, but they won't disclose who sent them. The fact that it was shortly after that when the Lab switched her computers in the dead of night, and then notified the police not long after that, who then removed her from the lab, seemed a little coincidental.
And then a couple months later, the outbreak started in the same area as the Level 4 lab in China.

I'm sure there are some out there who think the more likely scenario is that the virus is being caused by the 5G network. Because to some that is somehow less crazy than the idea that the virus may have accidentally been released from a lab that was studying and experimenting on the exact same types of viruses.

What I think is most likely is that you don't know what you're talking about.  Do you seriously think Trump would state what he did sans evidence?  You're dreaming.

trump isn't known for paying attention to detail, he'll half-listen during a briefing while tweetering, perk up when he hears a few words or phrases that confirm what he feels in his gut - if he bothers with briefings, instead getting his "intel" from the fox news ticker.

in this case he petulantly sat through the briefing, bored with all the hard scienc-ey words.  he heard something about a lab, something about virus, something about possible scenario, and ignored the part about no evidence, no proof, and those probabilities and statistics were just too number-y.

he's a stable genius.  he's the president, and everyone else is fake news.

Wow, sounds like you spend a lot of time around Trump.  That's cool.  What's it like in those meetings?  Would love to get some more of your in-the-know dirty nitty gritty.

On a more serious note, what the heck are you talking about?

Been following your posts, Kerry.  Good writings.  I agree as well that proof will probably never be forthcoming.  I think there is enough evidence already to 'know' but if it can't be proved it will just become another unverified "conspiracy theory."

if someone was confident then surely they would not use the word may.

True in general, but in this case, I would say don't pay too much attention to the words.

You're wrong.  As a kid, whenever I had to be punished or threatened  or something' it was always Timbuctoo.

The problem with the virus having escaped from a Wuhan lab is this:

You can't get SARS Cov2 from a bat.

It had to jump to another animal species, ferret for example, or cats, and then mutate until the virus could infect human cells.

So once the virus escapes from the Wuhan lab, there would have to be a considerable time period that elapses until the virus mutates in an animal carrier.

Again, to get SARS Cov2 from a bat virus is completely impossible.

Even a moron can reason it didn't come from a few Yunnanese bats 1000km in away in a market in Wuhan. What a yarn

Meanwhile two biolabs that deal with bats and Corona virus in Wuhan.

China denies all outsiders access to lab including WHO. Threatens Australia and NZ.

Seriously wake up. Seriously.

Trump stated so much without even the faintest evidence... already forgotten his idea to inject people with bleach...

Perhaps the comment about the bleach was a sarcastic dig at all the so called experts who were present at the time.

Not one shred of factual evidence this all started in a wet market in Wuhan. In fact just the exact opposite. It's just a total fiction the CCP keeps repeating. Denial. Subterfuge. Lies. Deceit.

Apparently intelligence officials and disease researchers have a good idea, https://www.aol.com/article/news/2020/05/01/experts-shoot-down-trumps-claim-that-the-us-has-reason-to-believe-the-coronavirus-originated-in-a-wuhan-lab/24163437/

I doubt there is any factual evidence of anything.  And even if there was, many of those with entrenched positions would dismiss it as made-up, false or invent some other reason for denying it.

What prohibits Trump talking about evidence?

He has on a number of occasions blurted out highly sensitive intelligence information and when criticized he and his supporters have argued that as President he has the right to declassify any information he wishes.

If Trump had evidence he’d show it.

His accusation is a lie, his claim to have seen evidence is a lie.

Perhaps " blurting out highly sensitive information " could trigger world war three in this instance.

Well then, in the beginning you were willing to give  him the benefit of your doubt. Pretty good going that there.????

Well the debate of where the Corona virus started will continue, one thing for

sure, it has become a world traveller. Hardly any country around except maybe

the Antarctic, and a couple others where it has not visited. Since so many people

still support Trump like he is some kind of savior, I am surprised that there

is not a fan club for the Corona virus.  Just to be clear I am not

a fan, and I hope there will be a vaccine that will kill this virus, and save

lots of people around the world.

Geezer

Interesting. The Institut Pasteur is quite reputed and their findings are quite disturbing.
