Featured Replies

Hi guys

I totaly newbie with this bitcoin thing but was told to register on coins.co.th

to get some bitcoins for a transaction. So I register and  ask for a selfie

photo but it say valid, government-issued ID.No Iam not Thai would I be allowed to use

this service? I cant find out clearly, Please any advice?

No you don't have to be Thai.  I'm American and I was able to sign up and purchase a small amount of bitcoin.  I did it like a year ago though so I can't remember the exact process. I think I had to take a selfie with my passport.

But to answer your question, no, you don't have to be Thai.

Ok great thank for quick reply and yes need verify with webcam etc

I recommend you don´t use them. They don´t value privacy, and their spread is terrible. They overcharge their customers a lot. Their support is unprofessional as well.

I recommend you use services as BISQ instead. In BISQ you don´t need to do any kind of verification.

Cheers
