Thai post not allowing mail sent international

Featured Replies

I tried to mail 2 letters from Mae Rim to U.S.A and they said they are not accepting mail to leave the country  is this coming from Thailand or The United States and whoever does anyone know when this will be lifted!

Not a new Thai policy.  When the planes start flying in significant numbers, mail will start flying too.  Guess at least a few more months.

Fax will be very much cheaper than Courrier service like Fedex, if just a document.  Copy shop in Mae Rim can send fax, the one down toward the traffic light on E side across from south most bank.

I will cost you but you need to use a courier service like DHL, UPS, or FEDEX.

Cargo flights to and from Thailand have been operating normally

for the duration of the crisis without restrictions.

A few exceptions.  See the other recent TV thread on this topic.

OP read the pinned topics in General forum and in the Home Country forum regarding USA.
