Social security (SSO) hospitals

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have the Thai social security card (SSO) and I need to choose a hospital.

The following hospital was automatically selected: Queen Sirikit Naval hospital in Sattahip.

Is it a good hospital ?

Are there any other hospitals that are recommended in Chonburi and Rayong province ?

Finally, are all costs covered if I go to this SSO hospital, without any limits ?

Thanks for your help.

Queen Sawang Wadhana Memorial Hospital

this is the Government hospital i am registered at in Sri Ratcha they are VERY good have had 3 operations there both hips replaced it was covered 100% I did pay 1000 Baht per night for a single room but great value big TV WiFi air con I could control. You can opt for a regular ward and it will be free.

In that region this is an excellent choice. You are lucky they are enrolling.

Red Cross in Sri Racha also very good.

There is no cost limit. All in and outpatient care, including meds, covered. Rarely there may be a test or drug not on the list.

If you stop working for any reason be sure to maintain the cover by self pay unless you are permanently leaving Thailand.
