To name just a few, know of any charities Merkel and Macron stole from? Or how they're employing illegals? Even your own Boris doesn't lie as much as Trump.

There are detail variations across the world, but the morality and criminality are roughly the same.

If you can't see that, you're not worth discussion.

Really? Merkel and Macron have the same 'morality and criminality' as Trump?

Really?................................................................ Really?

I've come full circle on the usefulness of Trump. 4 years ago he was a boorish idiot, no class wannabe, childish crybaby, self-centered and only really cared about his own legacy and helping himself and his friends financially. He has hardly moved the bar from that assessment 4 years later BUT I think he was needed to shine the light on China. Although Trump's torch was economic, COVID-19 has given him another torch (the Uighur camps never took hold as another torch) and even the emergence of Taiwan as a COVID-19 world-beater can be used. Just as Reagan served a useful foil vs the Soviet Union, Trump provides a useful role as highlighting many of the unfair and authoritarian issues underlying the CCP and their dealings around the world. He may have campaigned on the MAGA theme, with a focus on the southern border, but in reality his achievement might be in uniting the West (and other countries) to take a more critical stance against China and not just kowtow to its economic weight. How this will play out in the next decade or two, will be fascinating to watch. Prior to Trump...everyone was just marching along to a growing China, Belt and Road, South China Sea, economic bullying, expansionist tendencies, etc....maybe Trump has applied some brakes, which could be his real legacy.

Trump is the only leader out of the 3 mentioned to be doing his job. That is improving the lives of his countrymen. Trump, no doubt, is only trying to make America great again. Merkel and Macron are doing all they can to win prizes and acolytes from the left, to the cost of France and Germany's traditional inhabitants. They preside over complete losses of freedom of speech(and thought), increasingly totalitarian states, and set the inevitable course of the breakup of the EU with their overbearing desire to control the continent.

History will show Trump was the most moral.

from "hoax" to "pandemic", from denial to self-congratulation, "wartime president" taking "no responsibility" ... Trump's sense of morality

Trump only got elected because 4 million Americans who had previously voted for Obama thought Hilary was such a shoo-in they didn't need to vote.

Not at ALL true. Hillary was one of the most hated candidates ever. The unfortunate side effect of retirement is time to research candidates like her. She was one of the original architects of TPP, the ONE thing Trump got right to avoid (even though for the wrong reasons). Roughly 43% of valid voters didn't vote cuz they couldn't waste their time on a choice between a sh*t taco and a douche (South Park reference) and we got the same situation all over again.

Trump has Huawei and ZTE phones banned, as these companies are partially owned by the Chinese govt, and thus he claims their stuff to all be spying on us.

Yet he seems to forget they also make iPhones, and 99% of the junk in Walmart, which could easily be doing the same.

A bit of a difference there.  Although iPhones assembled in China (by a combined full and part time workforce of 250,000), Apple is an American company, who will not take orders from Xi—if pressured.

If he cuts trade ties with China there will be a sudden shortage of MAGA hats. On the other hand demand will soon be plummeting now that even more Americans are seeing how they handed the Presidency of their country over to a fat old man with the mind of a petulant 8 year old.

He will be able to buy a new hand bag from his daughter Ivanka collection which was made in China the same as her shoes that she sells to Americans.

Xi is making mistake after mistake with his dealings with Trump. Trump is a bully and will back down if challenged. China is always on the back foot reacting to whatever is the accusation du jour. He needs to take the initiative....withdraw licences from US tech firms, fast fast food outlets and Pespi/Coke. Scrap the Phase 1 deal. Stop exporting rare earths to the US, veto all US Security council resolutions. Introduce sanctions over Israel's annexation of the West Bank....fine any firm that deals with Israel firm or any firms located in China that do so.....multibillion dollar fines for FaceBook, Twitter etc if they allow Israeli posts etc etc. Start hacking for real.....you are accused of it so why not do it?

Trump will blink before the election as he sees support fade away.....the US cannot reorganise its whole global supply chain by November.....so the pain will be felt early.

He doesn't even take a salary. His bedroom antics are his own business providing he only touches adults, and there is no suggestion otherwise. He is standing up for his country against tyrannical regimes worldwide. How can you say he is immoral?

Mr Xi would love to read this thread. Hooray for the Chinese communist party and their American supporters.

'He is standing up for his country against tyrannical regimes worldwide' - Apart of course from Russia and North Korea. Obviously they don't count.

"This president once suggested COVID-19 patients inject disinfectants," Hu said on Twitter. "Remember this and you won't be surprised when he said he could cut off the whole relationship with China."

this and the impeachment will always be following him for the remaining of his life..... what a legacy

It's just pathetic to see the numbers of posters who hate Trump to the point they support the Commie Xi.

I have to agree here, I do not like Trump but it is obvious where this began and who is responsible for it. China has not been nearly transparent enough about the evolution of the pandemic (Patient 0 information access) and the numbers effected (flat out liars about their death rate). I believe the spread of the virus was SOMEWHAT (not totally) out of their control just based on how many are asymptomatic carriers and have been undetected (especially in the beginning) however, China dropped the ball in regards to distributing the scientific information that they HAD to have had that could have helped the rest of the world, the question why did they drop the ball...obviously questions the world as a whole will demand answers for.

Ebola is incomparable to coronavirus. Its apples and oranges.

Not exactly, Coronaviruses are a group of RNA viruses (Ribonucleic Acid). Ebola is a VHF (Viral Hemoorrhagic Fever) that can be caused by RNA's

Unless of course oranges can turn into apples.
