Fresh Berries

Featured Replies

Several years ago a fellow posted that he was in the process of trying to grow fresh berries such as blueberries and raspberries in the Samoeng area. Anyone have recent info?

No specific info but Rimping had local raspberries a few months ago and they were excellent, great flavour and no damaged fruit in the packs. Obviously this is going to be a very specialised product for some time until there is greater supply. I remember when the first local capsicums were grown here and were considered exotic. So give it a few years before supplies become more plentiful.

How was the price, ridiculously high like pretty much all of their fruits?
