Nobody is accountable for voicing an opinion, all the media is accountable to the constitution, or should be:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

No, the media are not accountable to the Constitution. It (and the passage you quote) apply only to the federal government. Last time I checked, Twitter and Facebook were private companies, and the Constitution does not constrain them, although it does afford them certain rights and protections.

The purpose of the Constitution is to delineate the national frame of government and the various amendments are mostly to guarantee certain rights and protections to citizens.

Sounds like it's a prerequisite that you're a democrat when you get a job at facebook and they all hate Trump.

I doubt this will go over very well with the shareholders. Facebook is not supposed to be a political institution, it's supposed to be neutral.

Twitter have big problems coming their way if the neutrality is removed.

If they're editing some of the content on the website then they're responsible for what's on it - all of it, every single post by every person doing the posting.

This is why platforms remain neutral. Because once you start editing what you publish it becomes published by the company and not the poster, this allows people to sue the company opening up massive liability issues.

You obviously have no problem listening to a right wing clown!

Or reading your post? The left, center and right. All demand unlimited freedom to bang the agenda drum. That is, unless that freedom allows others to tread on their feet. Then the screams begin.

These employees are anything other than objective intellectuals, or educated technicians focused on honest work ethics.  Just look at this garbage:  "Facebook's recent decision to not act on posts that incite violence ignores other options to keep our community safe..."

These are the same type of socialist leftist fools who think looters and violent rioters are engaging in "demonstrations" for a valid cause.

The actual full statements made by President Trump are seldom if ever reported in their entirety.  Just go back to his initial speech in 2016 where he spoke about criminals crossing America's porous southern border and the need for a wall.  The mass media edited his actual statements and speech to enable them to say lies about the President's remarks on Mexicans.

Snippets, and carefully edited pieces are offered to the masses to enable those with an agenda to blame the President for all things wrong.

In short order he will be publicly indicted in most biased circles as being the one who caused the riots and mass destruction in America.

Not long ago we were supposed to be concerned about government control and restraints on the internet. I guess it is all about who gets to do the control & restraint.

It is a private company, not part of public broadcasting it is private money not government funded.

Where you truly believe the "owners" are "left wing fascist" (?oxymoron") or not. In a democracy all points of view even one we may disagree with should be heard.

Closing open debate as you seem to want stifles debate, you also need to listen to others points of view, become informed. Fascist burned books, closed libraries, and stifled freedom speech, which you are advocating. ??Fascist?? careful about throwing labels around.

With the right of freedom of speech comes a responsibility of truth and fact,  Please let POTUS know that small detail.

The question is, are they a publisher or a platform.

So Trump-haters want to deny even the President of the United States his right of free speech.

Not gonna happen.

There is no ‘right to free speech’ on a privately owned platform.

I love Americans.

When they argue, someone always brings a graph that they found on the Internet.

Yes. They "fact checked" Trump's statement using CNN as the definitive credible source. 'nuff said.

Do you consider Trump a credible source?  Like you say, 'nuff said.
