I have an Oppo F9, & the SD Card has a Camera Dump with 13839 files of 97kb each.

 

What is it & can I delete them?

Some kind of "crash dump files".

But no idea what it means on Android.

 

Search reveals this surprising magic code:

Open the phone dialer, dial *#9900# and select the 2nd option “Delete dumpstate/logcat” in the prompted menu. Select ok to 'Delete Dump' and hit exit. This will restore heaps of storage space by deleting all the log files in the device memory.

Does *#9900# show a long list of internal "SYSDUMP" functions?

(I had activated Developer Mode on my phone a while ago, so not sure whether this is a standard feature)
