I suggest you start a letter writing campaign and keep on them until you get some satisfactory response form the company.  The cashier was showing your complete and utter contempt.  That should not be left to stand.  

Maybe threaten to complain to you embassy too. Otherwise start a demonstration, because you got your feelings hurt.

One last choice would be a letter to the MPH.

That's not the point.  My feeling is whether it's appropriate to cry racism every time someone (of a different race of course) treats you in a manner that may appear rude.  It does diminish the value of the term, don't you think?

something similar happened to me (I am not in a wheelchair) at Big C last week.

as always I put the bag I bought from them first on the counter, then all my shopping.

whilst in the past the cashier automatically put my stuff in the bag, this time the guy made no attempt to do so. He did so reluctantly after I asked him to do so. You should have seen his face !

With Colin. Falongs might be OK but entitled falongs are not. Treat others with respect and they generally do the same. Never been treated with disrespect by Thais and I have very a very long experience. However, if it happens tomorrow, I wont make a big deal of it.

Really sorry for you. Sounds like the individual cashier was the problem. Bad day? Trouble at home? Had a bad farang experience? Who knows. Obviously not the lady behind you who wanted to help, nor the security guy who did help. Yes a complaint to the store manager would probably have sorted her out. Like you I often don't have my phone with me. Like you my wife often thinks I've lost my marbles! Fortunately no similar experience up here in the sticks yet. Stay safe. I sincerely hope it was a one off for you....and the rest of us farangs.
