With so much debate on the forums about whether the government is lying on numbers, whether Thailand is hiding deaths, whether Covid is much more widespread than we are led to believe I thought we should have a survey.  Let's face it none of us know one way or the other but we all have our opinions.  In an extremely un-scientific way let's see what anecdotal evidence is out there.  If it was widespread surely someone somewhere knows someone or knows someone who knows someone who has had it.  I certainly do in the UK (four people, all recovered), but have never come across a case here, not in my circle of friends, their family, friends of friends, colleagues, staff, family or friends of staff (although one of my staff unfortunately lost his father to it but not here in Thailand).

So, let's not take it too seriously - I just think it would be interesting to see the results.  And it is not to try prove anything, I'm just interested in hearing stories.

I think millions have had Covid and recovered without HUGE symptoms as Djokovic and his chums are about to do. 0.3% mortality in tested cases and millions untested. The world has gone mad over a flu virus.

So far, based on a massive sample size of ten, it seems not much anecdotal evidence of Covid in Thailand.

Can we get our sample size up to 11?

Young guy distantly related to my wife. About 30 years old. Died a couple of weeks ago.  "Lung infection".

I asked my wife "Are you sure not Covid".  Answer, "No, no, lung infection"...Hmm.

Back in UK my aunt had it. In a care home. 101 years old. Recovered!!
