April 21, 200718 yr Hi guys, I'm on a Non-Imm O Multi-entry here in Thailand for the first time...previously been on Non-Imm Bs for supplier trips. This visa expires on 26th July this year and I'd like to get it extended to save having to re-apply. I'll have been here 90 days at the end of May so can I get this sorted before then, or do I require a visa-run? On my only ever visa-run back from Singapore the airport didn't like the fact that I couldn't show a return ticket to the UK as I hadn't bought one yet. Hopefully taking a copy of our marriage cert. will help? To get my Non-Imm O visa extended, can you tell me what exactly I need to prove? I have a business (sole trader) back in the UK and I withdraw both to live and to pay my Thai suppliers from ATMs in Bangkok (when I'm here) by transferring to the usual Nationwide Flex Account. That means I have no Thai bank account as yet - can I show the Nationwide statements? Well over 40K is being withdrawn per month from each. It would also be possible to show a decent amount in the UK business account and accounts/tax records if need be. However, since the birth of our son my wife hasn't yet gone back to work but is due to in August. Thanks, Carl
April 21, 200718 yr Neither the amount of money you have in the bank nor the amount you withdraw monthly matters. Immigration wants to see evidence of monthly family income of minimum 40k. For this, you need a letter certified by your embassy in Bangkok, and Immigration may also ask for the supporting documents. -- Maestro The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

You need to proove 40k monthly income and can do that by presenting immigration with a letter from UK Embassy. The Embassy will want to see some evidence before they issue the letter. You will have to fill in the application form some ID pictures, marriage certificate, pictures of you and wife at home or in front of home, her tabian baan, ID card, bring the wife with you. More knowledgeable members will tell you if I missed something Good luck
