Even though forensic examination has confirmed that there is no evidence of physical or sexual assault on the body of “Nong Chompoo”, her mother refuses to believe the child died of natural causes.

The police chief has said an announcement on the case will be made on Wednesday (July 15).

The death of the 3-year-old has sparked debate on social media, with netizens demanding that the killer of the young child be brought to justice.

The child had gone missing from her home in a village near Phu Phao Yon in Mudkdahan province on May 10, and her body was found on May 14 in the forest, about 2 kilometres away. Two people had been summoned for questioning.

Meanwhile, Dr Saksit Boonluk, chief of the Sunpasitthiprasong Hospital’s forensic department, continues to support the test result released on May 15 – that the child was not hurt or sexually abused. The autopsy conducted by the Police General Hospital revealed the same result.

The child’s mother, Sawitri Wongsricha, 40, refused to accept that Nong Chompoo had died of natural causes, pointing out that the child’s clothes were ripped and her hair cut, which meant someone had kidnapped her.

She also admitted that though she may be a suspect, her neighbours are still supporting her as they also want to know the truth behind the death of Nong Chompoo.

Agreed! RIP.

And in all respect for that  child's death I hope that the truth of  cause prevails.

Kaylee Anthony case here in Thailand it appears....media sensationalism not needed.  Autopsy performed with no findings to support the allegations.  RIP little one, exposure to the outside world without shelter could have been a contributing factor.

We don't have a lot to go on here.....  But if a girl child had disappeared and been foung abandoned 'dead' in the forrest, and an autopsy didn't find 'anything wrong'...... I would seek outside 'autopsy' help......... RIP Little one.......

COULD IT BE POSSIBLE THAT A PEDOPHILE/RAPIST works for the government' in a position of government to cover his own 'misdeeds'.... ?????????????

BUT YES...... If he got away with one........ PLEASE... watch out for your other darling daughters.......... In that area......

Two autopsies dont see sexual abuse, that is quite possible. Its not as if it has to be sexual abuse just murder could happen too. I find the absence of sexual abuse not strange but natural causes of death does look strange.

But to cover up 2 autopsies takes a lot. Its not as if a lot of people would willingly help to cover up the death of a child.
