A student at Ao Leuk School in the south of Thailand wondered what that was wriggling in the toilet bowl.

On closer inspection it became clear - it was a snake coiled up down there.

The student rushed to tell their teacher and the snake catchers were called.

Using a noose they took just ten minutes to extricate the one meter long cobra and facilitate its return to nature.

One woman had a carpet snake bite her on the butt just recently.

That'll teach her for sitting on the floor.
