Out of curiosity any witnesses statements from that nightclub about what his drinks were exactly. Just milk or?

Further were the bar manager/staff/other customers ever interviewed to build data/a scenario of what happened prior to the accident?

He told the committee that he was confused by the calculation formula.

In reality, he was confused by the TRUTH! It rarely applies!

BUT, those whose hands can be greased.

It's not a mistery that the Thais are not very familiar with the mathematics except when they apply the istitutionalized double pricing for the farang, but such a macroscopic error raises many doubts: it would be interesting to understand how this "Forensic Police Officer" was able to formulate the speed in 79.23 km/h so 8 years ago and today change is version in 177 Km/h: almost 100 kilometers more

Lt-Colonel Thanasit Taengchan, an officer from the Office of Police Forensic Science

He told the committee that he was confused by the calculation formula.

How to avoid confusion by the Forensic Science Police Officer: when you have a math problem, go to the nearest 7/Eleven and ask the girls to hit the calculators for you.

Shame on him and his parents, for not guiding him to do the right, by confessing his guilt instead of helping him escape, and now trying to whitewash it. If he had confessed, repented and spent a few years behind bars, he could have come out a better person and become a role model to society. Now everyone only curses them. And if he was not guilty at all to start with, they could have hired the best team of lawyers and defended him.

Unfortunately he/they probably don't have the slightest intention of doing as you suggest. That would be deemed a loss of face. Such things are for common people not the super rich elites whose actions, whatever they might be, are considered beyond accountability, reproach and the law.

The Western notions of justice, right from wrong, etc don't apply. Face, position, and social hierarchy is what counts. And no way will a hiso elite very wealthy family permit one of it's key heirs to be dragged through a trial.

This pantomime will drag on but go absolutely no where but round and round.

Look at the number of cases over the last few years involving wealthy elites, celebrities, etc and how they've got away with things or received slaps on the wrist, after appealing and appealing. And none were as wealthy as this scion.

Not bad going for one spoilt brat, he damages the reputation of his family and their business, he demonstrates yet again the corruption of the police and justice system, and globally he disgraces Thailand and its unequal society.

And will still walk... yet if you hold up a banner protesting an alternate opinion to that of the PM see what happens.

A farce. So many committees, they are falling over themselves.....and then Nate didn't show up for his session. Why not have one fully empowered committee?

They are waiting for this to drop from the news cycle again.

The goon who changed his mind about the speed from 177 to 77 (legal) to 177 again looks really bad, then adding the 177.23 to make it look more scientific is mindnumpingly stupid.....is it really accurate to two decimal places. They treat the public with contempt.

What do you think about the public?

They are more clever?

It all makes any different, they talk they lie, again they talk, they lie, but....

In most countries it is much of the same.

The pages with black markers, also occurs in my country, done by tax authorities.

The actual speed in this case is pretty much less important, the facts remain that he was responsible for the officers death, drove away, positive for drugs and fled the country, all in all, more than enough for a conviction. regardless of time.

In any other country, the family would be charged with aiding and abetting a criminal on the run.

"Police chief to get full report on Vorayuth case"

Should he not have got one in the first place? When the "accident" happened? As it was to "one of his own"?

One thing's for sure, if it had been A.N. Other driving the Ferrari, his feet wouldn't have touched the ground!

It's only taken 8 years to report on the matter & all can come up w/ is a possible charge for Drug use!! What a load of B/S!!

When is PM going to step in & apply some pressure for proper action & charges to be laid!!

If he had done the honourable thing at the start he would of been given a small fine , do a wai , pay a bit of blood money and all would of been forgiven , but the honourable thing was the problem

Apart from that, even 79.23 kph already was considerably ABOVE the speed limit in Bangkok.

I thought 80kph is the speed limit on Sukhumvit road.
