Why are you so upset at a country choosing to take control of its own affairs? Whilst, of course, there can be no denying that it is, partially, a reflection of how badly your government has behaved and has performed, it is not a reaction to you personally.

That is not the case, the SNP wish to partition themselves away from England and all they are achieving is breaking up Scotland, good luck in your quest for freedom, you are going to need it.

Separate, not partition (check your dictionary).

Break up of Scotland? After how many days and you still haven't read the article but still cling to the headline like some sort of talisman to ward off the demons in your mind? You will be in for a bit of a disappointment when the next poll comes out.

suffer the consequences of the demands of a few red faced old racists and football hooligans who can barely tie their own shoelaces.

Brilliant derogatory generalization there, even for a leftist Remainer you've excelled yourself.

No doubt you consider the likes of Douglas Murray, Dreda Mitchell, Sol Campbell, Dr Graham Gudgin etc. to be red faced old racists.????

If you had half the intellect of Douglas Murray you'd be twice as smart as you are ????.

You are right - I must admit, Brexit wasn't all about xenophobia. There were valid concerns raised by the good and the great.

Co-opting somebody else’s Intelligence in an argument against someone who disagrees with you.

It’s the stuff of the school playground most of us left in our childhood.

Another challenge for the Westminster government - finding a candidate willing to replace Lord Keen as Advocate General for Scotland. Keen quit over Westminster's plans to break international law, but unlike the other MPs who took a stand at the proposed illegality, Keen performed a very specific role, that of the legal representative of the Westminster government in Holyrood, and must be replaced. But if all legal minds are of the same opinion (and it would appear that they are), it would surely be difficult to find one willing to publicly debase him or herself, unless No 10 makes significant concessions?

Lord Keen: Scottish Tory leader says new advocate general will be found

"In his resignation letter to the prime minister, Lord Keen said he had "found it increasingly difficult to reconcile" his obligations as a lawyer with provisions in the Internal Market Bill which would allow the government to override parts of the UK's Brexit deal with the EU.

In an editorial published earlier this week, the Scottish Legal News website said that anyone defending the bill was endorsing "reckless and lawless behaviour that will tarnish Britain's reputation and ultimately that of those associated with it.""

Not sure what this has to do with Scottish independence though. Unless you're suggesting Scotland was colonised by the British ????

well someone had to.

Poll: Most Scots would reject independence after considering issues.

"Respondents were then asked how they would vote in a referendum with the question ‘Should Scotland remain in the United Kingdom or leave the United Kingdom?’

After considering the issues put, 56% said they would vote to remain in the UK and 44% would vote to leave, when undecided voters were excluded."

"With all respondents included, 47 per cent would vote to remain in the UK and 37 per cent would vote to leave.

Ms Nash added: “There is no appetite for another referendum while we deal with recovering from coronavirus.

“Ministers should drop plans for a new referendum Bill and focus on what really matters: our NHS and people’s jobs"

You forgot to include the highly leading, non standard 'issues', Vogie.

I notice that amongst the issues put forth, they never asked, 'would you like to continue to remain an a UK governed by an ultra right wing cabal of corrupt, incomperent tories?', you see that is what will win us independence - all we need to do is point to what is happening in Westminster and most Scots recoil in horror.

If you have a rosary, you could always tryin saying 3 'I hate Boris', it might make you feel better.????????

Physician heel thyself.

The wheels have well and truly come of the Brexit wagon and yet you still want it.

Vogie. We are gone. Get used to it. Its not a question of if its a question of when. And the longer Johnson keeps kicking that can down the ally the larger support will become and the less likely Westminster can turn it around.

By the way there is no way to prevent an independent Scotland from using the pound. Its a fully tradable fiat currency. So the poll was utterly flawed from the start.

So you honestly believe support for independence is waning then?

On the back of one poll. By survation and Scotland in Union?

Was it not a couple of weeks ago you were saying that polls mean nothing?

You keep putting these Scottish polls up whilst doing the Gay Gordons and saying look how far we are now in front Dr Findlay, so they mean something, while a poll that goes againgst your opinion bares no merit what-so-ever.

Top and bottom of it rookie is that you can take that poll as you wish, up to you, I know it must have come as a dissapointment to you, but you win some and you lose some. Sweet dreams.????

So when is the referendum then? And how can you be gone if you haven't had the referendum yet?
