Going to sign up for HBO Asia App ( to pay the 149b / mo)

Both play store and apple say the App is it not availible in my county.

 

If I change my location to Thailand. My ipad will be in Thai.

 

Any work arounds?

Open Settings. On the Home screen, tap Settings.

Tap General. On the next screen, tap General.

Select Language & Region. Scroll down and tap Language & Region.

Tap Device language. On the next screen, tap "[Device] Language".

Select your language. Pick your language from the list.

Sharing what I got from CS:

 

We would therefore recommend that you change your App Store/Google Play Store location to Thailand.

 

[App Store]

1.           Visit the Apple ID account page and sign-in to your Apple ID. 

2.           Under Account section, check thatCountry/Region lists the country of subscription.

 

[Google Play Store]

1.           Open  Google Play Store on your Android device. You must be signed-in to your Google account.

3.           Tap Menu > Account>Country and profiles. Check that Country and profiles lists the country of subscription

 

Alternatively, you may wish to create a new Apple ID/Google Play ID with a Thailand setting to be able to access HBO GO in Thailand. You would then have to sign-in to your new app store ID every time you want to use HBO GO or undertake the following for HBO GO usage:

•     Only switch to the Apple/Google Play ID with a Thailand setting when you need to browse/stream/download
•     Download 20 content at any one time and watch them offline while being on your USA Apple/Google Play ID
•     Use another device that is not logged in to your USA App Store/Google Play Store 
•     Watch HBO GO via GO website via (https://www.hbogoasia.com/)

If you prefer to create a new Apple/Google Play ID, you may follow the instructions provided by Apple on their website (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204316) / Google Play https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2521798?hl=en.
