HOAX
Funny how this even is news. More than 150 people gets nominated every year (Each member of the parliament is free to choose one). Next to every country in the world has a few Trump supporters among the members of their government. No shocker. He's been nominated every year (to my knowledge) since he became President. Trump got 1 (one) nomination this year, not even two, and we're not even into the voting part yet, that isn't done by the parliament, but an independent organisation, the Nobel Peace Price committee. Which must be about the same time as Trump and Kims meeting ? Far more dangerous are sub launched missiles: "North Korea test-fired a new-type submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM) in the waters off Wonsan. The Republic of Korea Armed Forces said the missile, which was dubbed Pukguksong-3, flew about 450 kilometers and reached a maximum altitude of 910 kilometers, making it an intermediate-range ballistic missile. It fell into the exclusive economic zone of Japan off Shimane Prefecture." It was successfully tested on Oct 2, 2019.

They stopped because they had completed their program. "After North Korea claimed that the missile was capable of "carrying [a] super-heavy [nuclear] warhead and hitting the whole mainland of the U.S.", Kim-Jong-Un announced that they had "finally realized the great historic cause of completing the state nuclear force",[23] putting them in a position of strength to push the United States into talks.[24] https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018_North_Korea–United_States_Singapore_Summit

Pre-Trump, there would be the occasional tantrum from the fat controller but hardly anything to worry about. I give him credit for at least trying but he achieved pretty much jack and again hardly merits for a N.P.P. There were numerous rockets going off and NK threatening to nuke the USA and Trump had sent the USA navy to the vicinity and there was a possibility or a war , maybe a World war with China , Japan, and South Korea getting involved , Trump walked into NK , shook Kims hand and all the tensions were diffused

Had the Nobel committee kept to the original essence of the prize ie awarding it to the individual who made the most contribution to world peace, it would be a fair and deserved award. But having its reputation sullied by awarding to somebody who had no idea why he won it (merely because he checked the PC diversity box) it is just a joke nowadays. I believe Meghan Markle will be the next Nobel award winner. She made no difference to peace, but she ticks the right boxes. Let's see. Lets be clear the UAE and Isreal are not at war. They simply agreed to have normal diplomatic relations. Lets be clear North Korea and the USA are offically at war Trump did not change that state. This is just not the apprentice this is the real world. 1

Good news, North Korea and the USA are not actually at war . Dont think they ever have been . The was previous hostilities between USA and NK , that had been going on for 50 odd years . Trump has managed to pacify NK , he did that whereas all previous POTUS had failed . NK was/is a rogue state , Trump quietened him down a bit
