Chumphae to PhuPhaman Sewer - Road Work

Featured Replies

They're replacing sewer lines & doing some associated roadwork between PhuPhaman & Chumphae.

I'm happy to see them upgrade infrastructure, but they're tearing up EVERYTHING all at the same time.

(Getting in and out of our local 7-11 is like crossing a bridge of death in Lord of the Rings)

Anyone have friends in the know who could say when this mess might actually be done?

never understood why they are allowed to destroy infrastructure and attempt to do it all in one shot, they invariably fail, guess it guarantees some payment!

If they are using the same contractors as Pattaya? 5 years would be optimistic before completion!

Even worse: Chum Phae "bypass" (201) is (was) a dirt hole.
Was: situation has improved.

They completely torn up the road, making two frontage roads and two main tracks plus the sewer.

40 to 50 meter wide aisle.

Out of CP (rd 228) also digging up for sewer. Traffic going to opposite lane without signs or barriers.

Can give a nice surprise for those unfamiliar with the place.

Here just outside Kumphawapi rural road every year resurface the asphalt.... if they put a weight limit on trucks hauling sugarcane probably

wouldn’t have to replace so often,......
