Brits returning to the UK from Thailand no longer need to self isolate!

Featured Replies

The Department for Transport in the UK has updated the list of countries from where arrivals have to undertake self isolation for 14 days.

Effective September 19th 2020, 4am (tomorrow) Thailand is no longer on the list of "hot" countries and those arriving from LOS can proceed directly home, to a hotel or wherever they wish to go without subsequent isolation.

This has been a concern especially for those living in Thailand a long time without having any option to isolate in the UK due to lack of a home. Especially in consideration of the dreaded September 26th deadline.

Hope it helps some guys out there who can breathe a bit easier now.
