The resultant loaves have improved as we get the collective knack. Good to know that I'm not the only one. My bread usually turns out like a brick.

A popular critique of this much ridiculed scheme came from yours truly on Wednesday.

The main practical problem will be getting a flight. Charter flights will not magically appear for such small numbers spread across several countries.

But I guess after the govt painted itself into a corner with its seal the borders approach, it is aiming to socialise the idea of tourists coming back with the people

Well, the first half of your elaborat was as boring as ever. Who is interested in blue cheese or bread baking Mrs Rooster???

And who wants to know if you got friends? If you don't have many there is a reason for it.

And then comes a long list of events, incidents and accidents.

Boring.

When it came to UK it's not worth to mention the law breaking govt????

I think you're suffering from having a tunnel view.

If you don't have anything particular to say you would be a hero and leave the Editor's Pick just blank.????

Ouch !      to be fair,  not so easy to put something together every week.   for most of us,  a few lines is about all we can muster.

Thank you rooster  for updating the news for a other week.  I find your column refreshing.

I only tried to make waffles once in cooking class, disaster, now I just buy store bought.

I do hope that people can get back into Thailand, who have property, family and friends.

It will be a very long Winter for the rest of us.

   Geezer

I loathe comments that a “guest” can’t be critical and should always keep their mouth shut."

In the same way that I loathe those posters who say "If you don't like it, go home" neglecting the fact that for a lot of us (Rooster included) Thailand is our home, and to wish for change in certain areas does not mean that we despise the place!

There is a huge difference between constructive criticism and outright verbal abuse, something that most on here fail to understand.

Nobody has the right to the xenophobic opinion that prevails on this forum, at the end of the day you will always be a guest of those you abuse, and become even more abusive as things change for the worse.

A never ending spiral of decline.

Thanks Rooster, for those who aren't "entertained" maybe you should seriously think about moving on? It's not your place to judge the opinions of others, didn't you come here in the first place as an opportunity to express your views and to be able to read the views of others? Tsk tsk!
