Congratulation to all foreigners who held back from getting their visas extended before Sept 26. You wouldnt waste 34 days away because visa grace period has been officially extended (read Bangkokpost) and after October 31, the news says ALL foreigners on Tourist Visa are eligible for 60 days extension with/without letter from respective embassy (unless i misunderstood the news on bkkpost) but i dont know about those who already extended their Tourist Visas -- I remember it is against ToC to share article or quote from bangkokpost, so feel free to google today's bangkokpost for the complete good news.

And..

Last month i posted (but later requested uBonjoe to delete my post) about what my consular told me on the phone about "not to worry of this visa ending threat". To my surprise, a lot of keyboard warriors hated my post, some called me "blabbermouth", some did personal digging on who counsular said so, some demanded written official statement from PM else i should not have posted here, but there are few mature forumers who left supportive comments and i gotta apologize to have asked the post removed before other desperate foreigners were able to read it.

I'll drop a call to my chatty friendly counsular some time before Oct 31, to hear what he gonna say about this "another visa ending situation". Dont worry, i learnt my lesson to keep valuable info for myself rather than sharing it here out of goodwill.

Peace.
