Apple Watch Series 6 LTE availability?

Featured Replies

Good morning,

I am eagerly waiting for the new Apple Watch Series 6 to be released (upgrading from a Series 2); I know that the WiFi-only version is already being sold on the Apple Thailand online shop (as far as I know, deliveries only, no in-store pickup). Traditionally, how long has it taken in the past before the LTE version becomes available? Are we looking at weeks or months? I bought my Series 2 in Singapore in 2016 so I have no idea how long it usually takes before the new versions hit the Thai market.

Regards,

Sambora

Hi, I purchased the Apple watch series 5 last years, only 2/3 months after is release, but beware!! I sill can not download and use the ECG App, always the same message "The ECG app is not available in your region".

Hi Rastatoto, I had realised ECG app, which I really want to get working, isn’t activated in Thailand. From googling there appears to be a way to activate if it was bought in a country which originally supports ECG... see here:

I had wondered if the Thai watches are actually Singapore or HK ‘versions’ and maybe the above method might work with Imazing and PList.

There is another way, see here:

I’m intending to buy a series 6 stainless steel (LTE included) as soon as available, and hope that either of the above options works.

If you decide to try yourself, let us know how you get on!
