Replacing damaged green book.

Featured Replies

Not going into details but the green book to the scooter I purchased has been torn in half.

whats involved in getting a replacement assuming that it can be done.

Book is not in my name.

I think the person who's name is in the book as title holder has to go to the land Transport Office with the torn green book, their ID card and some baht and request a replacement.

If the title holder isn't the same person who tore it in half in the first place, should take an hour or so.

did you buy the bike from person named in the book , was it torn in half at time of purchase.

if you have a copy or can make a copy you can tax and insure the bike,

getting your name in the book is a harder task, without the correct forms, copy of book named persons id card & house book, completed power of attorney etc
