Sure, but don't forget that some of those that fled were involved in massive corruption, collusion, bribery and deserved long jail sentences.

 

And I'm not forgetting that many others should have been charged and tried for various crimes but the appropriate agencies have looked the other way. Also unethical and disgraceful.
