House Wanted In Pattaya

My girlfriend and I want to rent a house in Pattaya.

Our preferred details are as follows:

Location - most likely East Pattaya around Soi Siam Country Club, Soi Nermplabwaan, Soi Watboonsan, Soi Khaotalo down to Mapprachan reservoir. Will consider other areas.

Type of house - detatched would be ideal, not a town house

Bedrooms - minimum 2

Bathrooms - minimum 2 (showers ok)

Funished - fully furnished preferred

Kitchen - european kitchen

Aircon - at least partial aircon required

Telephone - We will need a telephone line and ADSL capability

Outside space - some outside space would be desirable, seating would be great

Pool - a communal pool would be good but not essential

Security - some security is preferred

Budget - I'd like to keep around Bt20k per month but all depends upon the property.

Alot will depend upon how long you wish to rent for. Many owners including me would rather see a long term tennant than someone for say 1 or 2 months. Usually the longer you can sign up for, the better rate you can negotiate too. There are loads in the areas that you mentioned.

One in particular is in Srisuk Villas, located east of Sukhumvit, Soi Nongkraborg 57 (I think). Opposite to Tesco Lotus (at top of Thepprasit Rd) area. 20-25,000 per month. Good facilities incl pool, quiet, well looked after and good security.

We are considering renting our three bedroom,two bathroom house.We are located at pattaya paradise village 1,just off soi nernplabwan,east pattaya.We are returning to thailand on the 25th may,for 1 year.We will probably rent a house in Naklua has we are running a business from there.

Most things seem to meet your criteria,except we only have a thai kitchen.

Just a word on security. You mentioned that "some security is preferred". In the East of Sukhumvit area (and most other places for that matter), home buglary is rampant and VERY good security would be recommended.

I dont know if you allready have found a place, but here is a suggestion.

Siam Place, soi siam country club, 4 kilometers from railway crossing on your left hand side, you cant miss it big sign with houses for sale and rent, more than one house for rent. Very good security, can get phone and adsl, communal pool.

Just ask at the Office next to main entrance.
