Anyone driven lately from Ubon to Sisaket? 

 

Out of the two ways to go, Highway 24 or through Sisaket. Google says the driving time is within 10 minutes of each other. Which road is in better shape?

24: no problems. 4 lane and fast the whole way Ubon to ChockChai. 

Return using 226. OK but single lane between Surin and Uthumphorn Phisai. A few slow sugar beet tricks to get past.  Turnings for Surin and SISAKET ring roads, blink and you’ll miss them, and the two aforementioned towns are the last you want to go through!! 
I’d use the 24 for both trips but had to visit in Surin.

Both Dilli, I'll report on their positions later. I've already been to HomePro to purchase a larger letter box!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Dilli., I meant nothing derogatory when I said that Sisaket and Surin were '"the last places you want to drive through". I meant as a transit passage through the town or via Ring Road. I just prefer the "Ring" normally.

You are right. I didn't catch that. I am going to Korat. Sucks to get old.
