One of the many reasons I live here, being well aware of my forever only a "long term guest" status, is that I've no obligation to take any vested interests in any requirement or adherence to random nonsense that was specified for the citizenry. 

An above average sense of humor and frequent circumvention is the key to enjoying yourself in the LOS. 

No difference to Buddha day just have to find the bars serving outta tea cups with the lights turned off......usually those owned by police.
