can a Thai child with his id card and that of his estranged mother go to police station or town hall to ask for updated address of the mother ?

I am moving this to the family and children forum for better advice on how a child might locate his/her estranged mother.

 

i can almost guarantee  police would nto be helpful.

The police can't help no but Amphur can. Question is will they? Depends on age but I think they'd be happy to write down the address manually on a paper and give him.
