This is the kind of statement designed to excuse the author of not bothering to look at the issues and the facts. In fact there are huge differences in the USA between Republicans and Democrats. For instance, the poor are far more likely to get medical care now that Obamacare is the law. The rich are going to get a lot richer thanks to the tax bill the Trump administration got passed. What such statements really amount to is lack of knowledge masquerading as cynicism.

Unlike the Republicans in the case of Biden, the Democrats did not come up with ludicrous claims  that Trump didn't win the electoral vote. I will say one thing about your tacting of going to motive: it's impossible to disprove for the same reason it's impossible to prove. But thanks for the mind reading act. Has it ever occurred to you that Democrats and Republicans entertain some very different ideas about what sort of laws should be enacted and how they should be enforced. And that might explain the opposition. Or were Republicans just acting out of bitterness and spite when they opposed Obama? And as far as I'm aware, Obama never questioned Trump's citizenship.
