I think they do know what's going on and that their income will be slashed if they are shut down.

Yep, those car payments are at risk....????

  • Laughable just laughable, ole Prawit says no gambling dens, then his boss orders a probe into gambling dens. Just think about it for a minute, they have absolutely no bloody idea whats going on.

But, but, but his DPM Prawit says there are none.  So confused. No illegal gambling, no prostitution in Pattaya, oh who to believe.

  • LOOK AT THE P O L I C E   Mr. PM...without their patronage and turning a blind eye no gambling den can exist...

You just couldn't make it up.  Oops - they do.

If the watchman said no gambling etc., it must be true - he has first hand information from his long departed friend that supplies his watches.

Well if the probe into gambling doesn't find anything then the best thing to do would be to form a committee to examine the problem...

Just one, surely not enough....

Oh no, not another committee to be set up,  toooo many brown envelopes involved to close them down.

You would have to raid half of the teachers homes in Thailand.

If found guilty, they will be transferred from their current posts permanently.

So any cops having a vested interest in these gambling dens will not go to jail but be forced to set up in a new location?

Hopefully yes. Common sense, initiative and daring will continue to provide a service that is in great demand. But corona protocols should be observed and enforced...which they could be if casinos were legal.

Where is the perceived problem, there aren't any casino's to cause any problem or to legalise ????

You don't really believe anything like that could ever happen in Thailand?
