camera = for QR scanningand an optional picture of your face. I have used a picture of my deceased dog (from twenty gazillion forgotten pictures already on my smartphone).

 

location = what's good enough for Google is good enough for me.

 

physical activity = never saw that as a setup menu option when I installed. You don't have a fitness app already running do you?

 

bluetooth = asked for and was granted this permission as that's how it interacts with other smartphones (with Bluetooth turned on).

 

storage =  nope, never asked me but ALL apps need to access it, just some don't think it's important that you know.

People who say things like " why not", "I got nothing to hide" or " it will only help" and "but other apps already do it" do not deserve any form of privacy and dont cry when you realise big brother is watching your every move and reward will be given for being a good citizen and those deemed bad citizens will be punished. Never, ever would I down load one of these apps. There are stories in the uk of people just passing a shop and then being notified they must quarantine for 2 weeks or else!!!

Is there any benefit to running it on a separate phone, do you think? In the circumstances I can handle the location tracking but I'd rather not make all the personal info on my phone available.

Same here for IOS, after question 4 it just gets a time out spinning disk like the server is down.

For me the question is whether I can accept to get forcefully tested and, if positive, placed two weeks in one of their "field hospitals", which, to me,  look more like a concentration camps.

 

If I develop symptoms I'll stay put unless my pulse ox gets really low.
