This is said already by several specialists . The Roaring 20's will be back was the quote used by them . I do feel that they are absolutely right , and you sending the post now , gives more fuel to the believe that it will take place , since you are far from the only person having that feeling/thought .

I live in Hua Hin and I want to make sure you don't mistake Soi Binabaht for the old folks retirement home which is nearby.

So that's a left turn at the police station.

as long as you don't mind eating at the same restaurants night after night, going to one of two malls searching endlessly for something you are not going to find, walking on the most uninteresting beach in the world which is usually cover by a high tide or jellyfishes, seeing the same people everywhere you go, (including all your ex girlfriends with their new husbands) watching them build the new train tracks or getting your scooter washed for entertainment.

I am with you in spirit.

I went crazy last year after they lifted the travel restrictions. I headed for Bangkok at the end of May and everything and I mean everything was closed but the party was on for months. Five and a half months later:clap2: I came back to Hua Hin and here we go again.

Oh lord, stuck in Hua Hin again.

Sounds like you might be on an acid trip now.

I have messaged the ladyboys I know up in Hua Hin to start preparing. Use plenty of lube, relax, don’t clench and you will be good to go.

All the best.

I happen to like HH. Good food, good shopping, bakeries, etc. But it was alot more fun before Covid, and it sure has quieted down since. And now? Without the nightlife it is certainly a different place. But, does that not apply to nearly every city in Thailand?

Unfortunately, with this new outbreak, which Prayuth And Anutin, the extreme incompetents, more or less allowed to happen, with their reckless disregard of protocols, and unwillingness to shut down Samut Sakorn province the day this broke out, lives will be devastated, billions will be lost, and the return to "normal" will take who knows how much longer.

I agree with your sentiments about the military, I severely dislike all of them.

However, I think this will be more of a 'circuit breaker' lockdown rather than a prolonged one.

Cases are already starting to fall rapidly according to official figures.. I know, depends on whether you believe them or not...

But I expect I shall be back on the beach come the end of January, beer in hand and ready to bring the roaring 20's to Hua Hin! ????

If you see him, easy to recognise, that's the famous Liverpoolfan.

The dream of every single and married woman from south to north, east to west.
